I took this basket and weaved it with 

an old pair of jeans.

I think it turned out pretty bomb-tastic!

Now I have a place to set my

glasses at night =)

i'm tired of blogging

I don't like that I'm awake right now..

Yeah, it's 12:00? 

but even Starr and Skyler are sound asleep.

While I have this time alone, however,

I'll talk about things to keep me happy =)

The first thing I want to say is

Welcome back Christmas Cup!

It's funny because that mug has actually

become my personal favorite of the bunch  =)

It's the day before school starts!

I've been in my condo for about 5 days and
I'm loving it! I love my room, my roommates
and everything else in between =)

Cool tree, right!?

The only thing I'm struggling with is
this whole "cooking my own food" mess.
For one, I learned that I really don't like
grocery shopping. It's too hard
to decide what it is I need
versus what I want to make and
what I can make with what I got
but if I can't make anything
what it is that I bought to eat???
When I'm old and married, I'm not doing the
grocery shopping.

I don't have much to blog right now, 

so as a fore-warning, this will a short, boring post. 

Kinda like the "we just talked about the weather..."
type of blog.
Small talk. 

I'm doing pretty good in Tennessee, I'm happy.

I have no idea how I'll fall asleep tonight

since I just woke up from a nap that was taken

at the worst time possible:

6:00pm - 7:45pm

and I already fall asleep around 3:00am as it is.

Oh wellll. 

I'm excited to start the new school year! 

I'm definitely looking forward to moving
into my apartment with my 4 newest
friends...it'll be an interesting thing to 

see each of us grow to be our
"20 year olds self" all under the same roof.

I think the next three years will be
completely life changing. 

I anticipate the person I will become =)

ps; Starr and Kevin are so cute when they run around the
 house slapping each other =)

I love drinking tea at home. For me, it's different

to go to a coffee shop and order tea because

there's nothing special about the mug they give you. 

I mean, a plain white mug with no personality? 

Or a lovely christmas mug full of joy and noel?

Thank you Starr for reminding me of Christmas

during this 110° weather. =)

Yesterday, Me, Morgan, and Starr went

to Michaels to buy some materials to make dream catchers.

I needed to get clothes pins but after a long search 

with and without a salesmen, it turned out that Michaels

was fresh out of clothes pins. However, while walking

out of the store, I passed by the christmas section 

and found the clothes pins I was looking for,

with one minor detail...

There's a little snowman with a christmas tree hat
attached to each pin! It's a little ridiculous!

Something to leave y'all with: 
(y'all, in spirit of the south.)

While in the shower, I realized
something about baby animals.

And that is, that everyone loves
to be licked by baby animals!

Whether it's a puppy, a kitten, or a baby cow, 

being licked by anything "baby" is simply humbling!

Think about it the next time you come 

across a youngster wanting to lick your toes...

it just might brighten your day =)

I spent the last hour or so trying to 

customize my blogger layout, but 

ended up putting it aside due to lack of creativity. 

I'm now watching Julie & Julia and have happily

found inspiration out of Julie's own blogging experience in the movie.

A quick introduction! My name's karly.

I'm from California but am currently in Tennessee/Mississippi 

for the next few weeks visiting my sister Starr.

Something I hope to gain from blogging: 

 I find myself (unfortunately) being a quitter towards

projects you could consider to be "long term."

Give me a project that'll last a day, two days

maybe three with some mental preparation...but a

project like blogging, it's hard for me to

continue something that doesn't have 

physical success...

you know?

I guess only time will tell!
